The hardworking and determined Tsourounakis family who created the Zante Plaza Hotels and Resorts had always been passionate about hospitality and wanted to provide exceptional experiences to travelers from all around the world. The family consists of George, the father, Giota the mother and their two children, Vasilis & Konstantina.
Driven by their dreams, George and Giota decided to take a leap of faith and leave their hometown in Crete to start a new life on the beautiful island of Zakynthos. They chose the vibrant area of Laganas, known for its picturesque beaches and vibrant nightlife, as the location for their first hotel.
With limited resources and a lot of determination, George and Giota opened their small hotel with just a few rooms. They poured their hearts and souls into their business, working long hours and personally attending to every detail to ensure their Guests' satisfaction. The family's dedication and commitment soon earned them a reputation for outstanding service and hospitality.
As word spread about their exceptional hotel, more and more travelers flocked to Laganas, and the demand for accommodations grew, George and Giota, seized the opportunity to expand their business, they reinvested their profits back into the business, constantly improving and upgrading their services. Their son, Vasilis, grew up watching his parents' hard work and passion. Inspired by their success, he decided to join the family business after completing his studies, Vasilis brought fresh ideas and modern management techniques to the table, propelling the hotel to new heights.
Over the years, the family's relentless efforts paid off. With each new property they acquired, their hotel business flourished. They adapted to changing market trends and invested in eco-friendly practices, positioning their hotels as sustainable and responsible choices for travelers. Today, George & Giota along with their children Vasilis & Konstantina, own and manage eight magnificent hotels across Zakynthos. Their hotel business has become one of the largest and most successful on the island, attracting tourists from all corners of the Globe.
